We had an awesome Halloween yesterday and WOW! the weather was perfect! We started out the fun at Grandma Tilley's house where she made us a spooky lunch. Swamp monsters made from mac and cheese, mummy dogs made from hot dogs and breadsticks, mummy pizza, and donut hole eyballs. It was pretty cool. She even made green kool-aid with worms in it for swamp juice. The kids loved it!

After that we went to Grandpa Tilley's office to trick-or-treat there.
Here they are all dressed up and ready to go. My brother's girlfriend, Brittany, did the makeup around their eyes. Thanks Brittany!
The kids almost filled up their buckets just from that, it was crazy!

Tyson slept through part of it...
We got to go trick-or-treating with Terry's brother Aaron, his wife Katherine and their two kids Julianna and James. Here they are before heading out.
We had a great time and even got random non-candy things like play dough, silly string and rootbeer!
Last Friday Breckan and Zack had their Halloween Parade and Zack had his Halloween program. Here they are in the parade.

Breckan's costume pretty much fell apart and that was frustrating for her. I felt bad, especially when it was something a couple of safety pins easily fixed, but oh well. Maybe next year we should have a costume trial run or something to make sure they all stay on the way they are supposed to.
Also, my mom had her annual Whitchelina party on Sunday night. I didn't get very many pictures from that, unfortunately. But, here are the ones I did get.
Grandpa and Tyson waiting for dinner to start.
The pumpkin the kids painted and brought.
The photo scavenger hunt we went on. This is a picture of part of our team and the witch we had to find.
It was a super fun party, as always, and included a white elephant (or black bat, since it's Halloween) exchange and a yummy dinner of soup, rolls, and hot cider!
Hope you all had great Halloweens, too!
