Kira turned three on Saturday! We sure love our Kira, she is just adorable. She is way into dressing up in anything princess and/or pink. It's not very often that she stays in the same outfit all day long. She always changing her clothes! She's passionate about Dora the explorer, her blanket, and TREATS! She also loves to try to help take care of Tyson, which is scary when she tries to carry him everywhere. She is a tease, just like her dad, and always keeps us smiling. But, she is also super stubborn and can throw a temper tantrum with the best of them. I've never heard so much screaming, stomping, kicking, hitting, etc. in all my life!! Hopefully we can get that more under control by the time she is 4... Her favorite things to eat are Rice Krispies cereal, sausage, and mac and cheese. She loves to sing and listen to music. She has so many songs going on in her head she could put on a whole concert! Anyway, that's just a little about her. Here's a walk down memory lane because I love looking at how much they grow every year.

and 3 years!
Last year she blew out her candles before I could even put the cake down. This year she patiently waited until we finished singing "Happy Birthday" and then blew them out one at a time. It was cute and much better for picture taking!
We started out her birthday with a fun party with Grandparents and brothers and sister. After opening presents, we had a Tangled cake from DQ and played with her new toys and dress up clothes. She loved all of her presents- thanks Grandmas and Grandpas for the fun stuff! After the party and a little more playing we headed up to Toys R Us to use the 3 dollar coupon they gave us and some birthday money. She picked out a Dora Doll (big surprise) (:
And what do you know...it was Geoffrey's Birthday that day, too. They were handing out a bunch of free toys, stickers, movies, games, posters, and tons of other stuff. We got a bunch of fun stuff and were just headed out the door to leave when the giraffe himself showed up and took everyone on a parade around the store. The kids loved it! A little over the top, I thought, but Kira thought it was great sharing her birthday with the giraffe. Sorry no pictures of us at the store. Here's a picture of Geoffrey so you know who I'm talking about.
After that we went out to lunch and then headed home to get ready for the Utah Utes volleyball game. Terry took them to the game with Grandpa Tilley since I had Women's Conference that night. They had fun though and when we got home Kira CRASHED! Definitely an eventful birthday. Hopefully she had fun!
On a side note and completely off subject, can I just tell everyone how much I love Utah Poison Control? I've only called them twice- once when Breckan got a hold of some of my thyroid medication and swallowed a couple of those...and this morning when Tyson got into the dishwasher soap packets and broke it open and was sucking on it. (Don't worry, I've moved the dishwasher soap to a safer spot.) I just love that Poison Control never makes you feel like a total loser of a mom because you let your kids get into something they shouldn't have and they are so calm and kind. I highly recommend calling them for all your poison needs! (: Although, I really hope you don't ever have to...
