Happy Birthday Tyson!

So I am just finally getting around to blogging about Tyson's birthday which was more than a month ago! That is what happens when you forget to bring your camera to the party and so you "borrow" your mother-in-laws and then you have to somehow remember to bring a CD to her house, remember to take the CD out, remember to put the pictures on the CD, remember to bring the CD home, remember to get the CD out and put the pictures on the computer and then finally, remember to blog about the pictures that you finally remembered to get. (I fully realize that was probably the longest run-on sentence you have ever seen.) Anyway, after all that remembering I finally get to blog about his birthday! First off...here is Tyson newly born and adorable:

and here is Tyson, one year old and even more adorable (if that is even possible.)

We started out his special day with a trip to Gardner Village. My dad just got a job working for them, so he gave us a tour of his office. It was really fun to see where he works. He has a great big, beautiful office and we are so excited for him! After that we walked around and saw all the witches and decor they had up for Halloween. I wish I would have remembered the camera, there were some really cool witches there. Oh well, we will have to go again next year.
After strolling around Gardner Village we headed back to Grandma Tilley's house for lunch and PARTY!
For lunch we had soup and rolls.
For dessert we had this AMAZING birthday cake that my sister-in-law Maria made. I'm telling you she is a whiz with cakes and this one was no exception. She was even nice enough to let me help make it (actually I mostly just watched her amazingness!) I love the little fire cupcakes she did alongside the fire truck. SO COOL!

Here is the little fire hydrant she did for Tyson to destroy and dig into.

And of course you can't have a fire truck party without getting a fire truck!

We love little Tyson! He is a get into everything, keep on moving, give me what I want kind of guy and he keeps us happy (and frustrated) and on our toes (by far more than any other kid in our family.) Just for the record, yesterday Tyson ripped all of the quilts off the quilt rack, played in a toilet (that someone had forgotten to flush (gross)), unloaded the wipes container and ripped them into little edible pieces, threw spaghetti all over the floor and rubbed it in his hair and face (hence bath #2 for the day), repeatedly pushed any and all buttons on the T.V. just to get a reaction out of all of us, unloaded the drawers in the kitchen and all the pots and pans, grabbed the kitchen towels from off the oven and threw them on the floor, and got sent to bed early because I just couldn't take any more! Here is a picture of him in action at Grandma Tilley's.

Crazy, crazy boy. Love you Tyson!
