Oh joy!

Ok, so now I have to blog about blogging...I was faithfully working on the Easter post when I realized it was quiet...too quiet. Anyone with kids knows this is not what a parent wants to hear because usually it means trouble. I walked around the house looking in every room they usually hang out in and couldn't find them anywhere. I was hoping Terry had them with him, but no...he was alone watching NCAA basketball. Next I looked in Zack's closet and that's when I heard little noises coming from the bathroom. "Oh great," I thought, as visions of Potato Head parts floating in the overflowing toilet went dancing through my head. I slowly opened the door and found I was wrong-thankfully. But, boy did I have a mess on my hands! They had found the liquid baby soap I keep in a box under the sink and had dumped it all over the floor, all over their clothes and all over their hands and arms. Zack was enjoying himself, sliding through the soap on the floor and falling all over the place. He thought it was great fun! I had to laugh at that one. I was grateful, because it could have been worse, but still, it was a mess! Note to self...never ignore the quiet for long!

Nothing good can come from complete silence. It amazes me how quite they can cause distruction.
