Hey everyone!
I never thought we would have a blog spot, but they seem pretty cool, so I'm trying it. Just a little about us...
We live in Bountiful, Utah in a two bedroom apartment. We have two cute kids that keep us on our toes and keep us smiling. Terry works at a wholesale home improvement company called Alumaline. He does a little bit of EVERYTHING there (or so it seems.) More specifically, he does purchasing, shipping, delivering, sales, truck loading, and even gets to manage a few people. He likes his job and is hoping to stay with this company for a long, long time. He is the assistant cub master in our ward, which he says is one of the best jobs ever. It's easy and fun! He also substitutes in the primary a lot and enjoys that, too. He builds window screens on the side and is very, very busy with that right now. Hopefully, that job will slow down with the cold and the snow. Hopefully soon, we sure miss having him home at nights.
I get to stay home with the kids and I love it. I also watch my cousins, Taylor and Brynlie, after they get out of school everyday and teach piano lessons to my little sisters. We have a little neighborhood playgroup that I'm in charge of every 5 weeks or so, too. My mom is nice enough to watch Breckan and Zack nearly everyday for about an hour while I go exercise at the local rec center, which I enjoy probably much more than I should! I play the piano for the primary, which IS the best job ever. Other than that, I love to read, digital scrapbook, play barbies and drive trucks.
Breckan is nearly three. She is growing up so fast and she is a total girl! She loves anything pink and hates anything brown, including dirt and hamburger. She loves to tease, (wonder where she got that from) and she loves to dance and sing. She loves her little brother Zack, at least she loves being in charge of him. J/K they get along great and are very cute together. We recently took Breckan to Primary Children's Hospital and found out she has reflux in her kidneys. We are trying to completely flush out her entire system hoping that will take care of the problem, if not she will have to have surgery. There's only about a ten percent chance that it will take care of the reflux completely, but there's a thirty to fourty percent chance that it will at least make it less severe. Then, she could probably grow out of the reflux. We are having a special fast for her the first Sunday in November. Everyone is welcome to join us, please pray for her!
Zachary is just as much of a boy as Breckan is a girl. He is crazy and messy and loves to tackle other kids. He loves anything to do with water and drives me nuts at the swimming pool. He has no sense of self-preservation whatsoever. He loves to take Breckan's toys and run off with them, especially when Breckan screams and chases him. It's pretty funny. He loves to dance, something I'm sure he picked up from Breckan. He absolutely LOVES his grandmas and is lucky to have them both living so close. He will be two in February and is just starting to pick up some words. He loves to yell "baaa!" (bye) to anyone that's leaving, or anyone we are leaving. He loves to snuggle and give hugs and he will sit and read stories with you for hours. He also loves to tease and has the best smiles.
I tried to put some pictures on here, but it's not working. I will have to play around with that. Love you all!
